- My journey as a content marketer began when I joined a weblog site that introduced games and apps for cell phones. There, I learned how to:
- Craft and execute content strategies that aligned with the site’s goals and audience’s needs
- Write compelling copy that attracted and engaged visitors and encouraged them to take action
- Optimize web pages for SEO using best practices and tools
- Interact with the site’s visitors as a community moderator and help them with their queries
I wanted to take my skills to the next level, so I started my own blog with a friend: iPhoneRock. Soon, it became a popular site that offered solutions and guides for iPhone users. There, I was in charge of:
- Researching hot trends, topics, and user problems and writing articles that solved them
- Applying effective SEO techniques to increase the site’s ranking and revenue from Google AdSense
- Managing the site’s social media presence and growing its followers and engagement
After iPhoneRocks, I ventured into entrepreneurship and opened a store to sell mobiles and laptops. This experience taught me a lot about business and customer service and how important it is to keep customers satisfied and loyal. However, due to the rise of online competitors and digitalization, I decided to close the store and join PersianSurface, a growing e-commerce platform that sold laptops. There, I contributed to the success of the business by:
- Achieving top-five Google rankings for 25+ targeted keywords
- Implementing local SEO strategies to increase brand awareness and local traffic
- Enhancing the customer support via online chat to augment customer satisfaction
- Using Yoast to enhance target pages for search engine marketing and measure the density of keyboards
- Using HubSpot for email marketing and popups to increase the conversion rate
During this period I became confident that digital marketing is my niche and I should pursue this road more seriously.
Now, I graduated with an MBA from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Berlin, where I improved my knowledge and skills in marketing strategy, e-commerce, and social media. I also have the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate. I speak Persian and English fluently, and my German level is A2. I love learning new languages and cultures.
